Chris Van Doren is the Founder & Product Lead of The Movement Org and a professional dancer with almost two decades of experience across Australia and internationally.

For much of the 2010s, he worked consistently at the highest level of Australia’s commercial dance industry, performing on major productions while represented by JEEP Management. His credits include Taylor Swift, Kylie Minogue, Magic Mike Live Australia, The Voice, The X Factor, Saturday Night Fever, The Bodyguard and Carmen at the Sydney Opera House.

After experiencing firsthand the challenges of sustaining a freelance dance career, Chris founded The Movement Org in 2021. Since then, he has led the product strategy, design, development and testing of the platform, building TMO V2 as professional career infrastructure for independent dancers.

Chris also served as a Dancers Australia Committee Member from 2023–2025 and contributed to development of the 2025 Dance Industry Code of Practice.
