Dancers remain independent and in control of their own career decisions.

The Movement Org exists to help dancers gain visibility, build income, and connect with real opportunities.

The goal is to give dancers a stronger digital home for their work, while making it easier for customers, viewers, and industry professionals to discover and support dance talent.

Payments & Payouts

Dancers are paid through Stripe, the secure payment provider used by The Movement Org to process customer payments and send payouts to dancers.

The Movement Org releases eligible payments instantly after a successful customer purchase. From there, Stripe may take approximately 3-5 business days to transfer the funds into the dancer’s connected bank account.

Payout timing can depend on Stripe’s processing times, the dancer’s bank, account verification status, weekends, public holidays, and any security or compliance checks required by Stripe.

Platform fees and payment processing fees are deducted before the dancer receives their payout.

To receive payouts, dancers must have a valid Stripe account connected and complete any required identity and bank verification.

For Stripe account, verification, bank account, or payout issues, dancers may need to contact Stripe Support directly here:

https://support.stripe.com

For platform-related payment questions, contact The Movement Org support.

Before a dancer receives their payout, the platform fee and payment processing fees are deducted from the customer’s payment.

The platform fee depends on the dancer’s account type:

  • Free Dancer: 25% platform fee
  • Pro Dancer: 15% platform fee

Stripe or the payment provider may also deduct standard payment processing fees.

The remaining balance is released to the dancer’s connected Stripe account, then transferred to their bank according to Stripe’s payout timing.
