Thomas J. Egan is a renowned Australian tap dancer, choreographer, and educator based in Sydney, originally from Melbourne. Known for his dynamic stage presence and ambitious productions, he is the co-creator of the internationally acclaimed show The Tap Pack, which has toured globally, including performances at the Sydney Opera House, London’s West End, Beijing, and Berlin.

Egan’s career spans major theatre and commercial productions, including Tap Dogs, Fame The Musical, The Great Gatsby, and Singin’ in the Rain, alongside collaborations with artists such as Kylie Minogue.

He is the founder and director of The Forge Tap Project, an initiative dedicated to preserving and advancing tap dance through education, workshops, and masterclasses across Australia.
