Set in a war-torn city, two teenagers separated from their families attempt to negotiate the harsh realities of war by day…
And by night, the magical folk stories they tell each other so they won’t be scared of the dark – full of Ogres, Singing Bones, and She-wolves – come to life.
A touching piece of theatre for young people that explores survival, loss, and the healing power of storytelling.
CHARACTERS
ANNA – 16 (stage age) Street smart, tough exterior
TOMAS – 12 (stage age) Naive, new to the city
STORYTELLERS – any age (must be 11 to audition) a diverse range of actors of any age and any gender who will bring to life the folk stories, and play multiple roles, including two featured roles:
NICK – Tomas’s brother and the Station Guard.
Note the ages and genders of Anna and Tomas are not set in stone and anyone who feels they fit the role is encouraged to audition.

INFO NIGHT – Wednesday the 18th of March at 7pm
AUDITION SLOTS – Sunday the 22nd at 10-12 or 1-3 and Wednesday the 25th at 7-9
