Chris Van Doren has spent over a decade at the pinnacle of the dance industry, performing on the biggest stages and working alongside some of the most renowned artists in the world. Now, as the founder of The Movement Org, he’s on a mission to reshape the industry—empowering dancers to take control of their careers, monetise their talent, and connect with a global network of professionals.
Originally from Queensland’s Gold Coast, Chris broke into the Sydney dance scene in 2010 and built a career spanning commercial dance, musical theatre, and television. His stage and screen credits include Taylor Swift, Rita Ora, Jason Derulo, Kelly Rowland, Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha, and appearances on The X-Factor, The Voice, Australia’s Got Talent, and The Masked Singer Australia. He made his musical theatre debut in The Bodyguard (2017) and later landed a featured role in Saturday Night Fever (2019). He has also collaborated with Kelly Abbey in Carmen at the Opera, The Squared Division, Baz Luhrmann in Elvis, and Hollywood A-lister Channing Tatum for Magic Mike Live, where he was one of Australia’s original cast members.
Now, through The Movement Org, Chris is pioneering the future of dance— Dance is evolving and The Movement Org. is making sure the industry evolves with it.
