CHRIS VAN DOREN (Dance Coach)

Hailing from Queensland’s Gold Coast, Chris Van Doren has been
arguably one of Australia’s most in-demand dancers in over the
past decade. Chris has experience in all aspects of stage and
screen since breaking into the Sydney scene in 2010 and has
worked with the best of the best in the industry since.
Chris’ stage and screen credits include Taylor Swift, Rita Ora,
Jason Derulo, Kelly Rowland, Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha, and has
regularly performed on The X-Factor, The Voice, Australia’s Got
Talent & The Masked Singer Australia as well as appearing in
numerous music video clips and television advertising
campaigns.
Chris was thrilled to bring his talents to the theatre for his
musical theatre debut in The Bodyguard in 2017, and was later
casted a featured role in Saturday Night Fever in 2019. Since
then he has furthered his career onto working alongside
industry international stars like Kelly Abbey in Carmen at the
Opera, The Squared Division, Baz Lurman in the making of Elvis
and Hollywood A-list celebrity Channing Tatum for his
international hit stage production of Magic Mike Live, casted as
one of Australia’s original Magic Mike Live dancer.

His new passion finds him in the role as a tech startup found with The Movement Org - to impart his experience onto the next generation of dancers as a coach to help them find their dance success in the industry.
